Universal Lock-up Kit
Installation of this kit makes retrofits into non-ECM 700R4 or 2004R vehicles a snap. System allows automatic operation of the TCC in 4th gear under stable engine operation, and disengages the clutch when accelerating or down shifting. Also provided in the kit is a manual override option. Constructed from OEM connectors and oil resistant wire, we install this kit in all our complete 700R4 & 2004R StreetFighter® Transmissions.

Mr Nomad,
Looking good!
Where did you get the shifter from?
Does it come with a rubber boot? Or does it need a consol?

its a Lokar shifter from the States...very popular with the hot rodders which is where i pull a fair bit of inspiration from...like what my paint & interior & wheels will be!
www.lokar.com
the shifters come in all different sizes up to 32" mines a 16"!
The boots & rings you buy seperatly....but i think you can also use aftermarket ones!
http://www.lokar.com/interior_pages/indicatorsboots.htm
I also have the control module & an in dash LED indicator!
there not cheap i warn you now!
Cheers

Woo back to the front page!!!!
Yes i know its been a while since i updated...but its been a while since any major works has begun due to partying in Canada for almost a month - hence where most my funds went and working to much aswell!
But work has begun in the Boot...plan is to hunt down an XB tank in the next week or 2 and finish replacing the section that has been cut out below, finish off some minor works and then spray the boot inside!
Bottom Side
Top Side
should be doing lots of work this year, so we try and keep the pictures coming!

So little bit on the boot today....the Boot finally had its Wheet-Bix, since i couldn't get a tank.
As 1 strenghtener was completely missing and the other completely rusted away, we made these up not original but alot stronger!
Template
Folded Up
Both Tacked In
Next load of Boot Work should be the tank, filler/Fuel Flap and the Battery Box/Tray Area.
