Ha OMG, I remember Brian La Crosse from Tom Fry Suzuki! My Dad was a newsagent from '87 till '07 in the St George area and he bought a brand new Sierra 4WD from him for his paper deliveries - as was the thing back then - just about all news agencies owned them.
I wonder how the EK ended up with a "STACK" badge on it's boot when it was sold by Vern Potts originally, and then resold back to him by the original owner? or was Vern Potts just an agent for STACK? and therefore all vehicles that past through the distributor were fitted with the badge? I may have missed some details as i sped read through the story
Either way, I wonder what has ever become of Mrs Johnson? Does anyone know her? It just seems all a shame that this EK has had such a colourful history for being what it is - original in every way. Or, let alone the fact that so called 'enthusiasts' back then had the hide to try and low ball the unsuspecting owner in financial hardship for their own personal gain, from which the vehicles fame arose.
