I guess some people think that FB/EKs are not too safe to drive without seatbelts. Other people think that seatbelts are unneccesary, or detract from a vehicles authenticity.
Everyone has their own opinion. Personally, I grew up without belts. I did however get used to them over the last few decades. When I bought the FB, I tried it for a few months with no belts. The kids thought it was fun, but I couldn't stand it so I fitted some.
Each to their own I guess.

Harv
It's not the cars themselves it's the Lebs in their drift Silvas and Commodores and the Asian females in their black Mitsubishi Mirages with the flowers on the back windows that know who you are and where you live that are out to kill you.

Cheers Harv.completly agree love reading about the pros and cons of doing a job or talk about the best way to do something ( that you have done befor yourself)
i was only asking a question and majority of replys I get and see on this site can be so negative somtimes I was always brought up in the way that if you got nothing nice to say don't bother saying it. I love all the help I get of this site from everyone but no time for the other stuff.
Some people have to many opinions

yep there is far to much of if you don't do it my way it's the wrong way

personally I only fit seatbelts if I have to even if I had a stock car (highly unlikely) and it was fitted with belts i'de take them out and fill the holes
though these days i'de think twice if I was regularly carrying kids though I managed to survive and my kids also managed to
with all these "safety" features in cars people STILL DIE when yor number is up yor number is up is my theory

That's a pretty cool idea - never heard of Fusor before:

When I did the B-pillar plates in the FB, I pop-riveted them in then touch-painted the rivet heads. Fusor would have been neater.
