While we would love all entries to be in by the April 30 deadline, to help with planning,
We will accept entries up to, and at the event.
These late entries have a $10 fee added and you may miss out on some goodies.
So best you get in before April 30 anyway
Cheers
Jeff

Tick, tick, tick, Lesley - too long for some, not long enough for others who are running to a completion deadline...
Garry, finally - I get a chance to take a peek at your build...
frats,
Rosco

Hi rosco,
sure can associate with those people struggling to finish their cars, especially when a build deadline has been set........hmmm 2004, finished 2 days before, 250k's on the clock before making a decision at 11.30p.m. (due to leave at 4.30 next morning) "to just do it" with a rear main seal leak!!! Wishing those people all the very very best of luck to getting their rides finished, and coming to enjoy the nationals.
Sure will be great to catch up with some people who have not been around for a couple of nationals.
All very good
cheers
Lesley

Yes Lesley - we had the same sort of diminishing deadline for Tenterfield..... and the club tour of Tassie..... there's probably not one of us who has not ever had that loud clock ticking inside their heads - and the many, many late nights out in the cold garage trying to put more of the puzzle back together.....
Ah, the splendour of it all..... just so good to finally get it out on the road and have it all "Hold.." together...
frats,
Rosco

BUT when it all does eventually fall into place it is oh so good to be able to cruise.........and cruise.....and
Does make it all worthwile in the end.
cheers

Gday,
For the benefit of very interested spectators in 'other' old Holdens, where and when is the Show'n'Shine held? Will there be a parking area for non-entered cars somewhere nearby?
cheers, jack

Our car club, Holdens of Age Mount Gambier is doing the catering and will be driving their old holdens on the day. They will be parked together in the car park, separate to the nationals display. You can certainly "tack on to" the end of our cars. The Show n shine will be "weather permitting, and at this stage there is no rain forecast, but will be cold", is on the lawned area adjacent to the Valley Lake, on Sunday. The more old holdens in the car park for people to look at will add to a nice day
regards
Roger and Lesley

You do realise that they don't have trophies for best car in the car park, don't you?
