yeah good point Harko!

Loose the Sunvisor with the Hopsters & the Bonnet Bird! will make the rims suit it more (IMHO)

Yes, your dad is a wise man. Leave the sunvisor on. The money spent on the wheels would have been better placed into repairing the body in my opinion. Still, it's your car and you should do what you like with it!

yeah i would love to get the body fixed up, but i think it will turn out to cost heaps. iam really tempted to just cut out the rust in the sills and bog it up after treating the rust, but i know its not a final solution, and i will have to combat the caner again in the future. can anyone in perth give me some names of people that would repair this car's rust for a reasonable price?

Just my 2cents worth,
As a general rule of thumb, For my liking,
Grey motor = stock rims, chromies or old mags(Tasmans, Herbert, Spyder etc)
Red motor = Stock rims, Reversed and/or chromed Rims, Mags (magnums, dragways etc)
Chev V8 = Centerlines, Weld etc
V6 or RB30 = Modern Mags 15", 17" etc

So by that, I'd use Wide Chromies on yours.

Loosing all the chrome means you will have to fill the holes or use some small buttons etc ,Im with the old school look too , I love flappers and steelies.
Are you planning to run whites and hops (sounds like a drink)
Give me a good side on pic with the hops on and Ill photoshop the whites on to see what it will look like ...
