Im pretty sure the kits were different between the manual and auto, what did you order ?

Looking good, I don't like any of the pictures, the sleeper look is for me.

Not sure Iread in this forum that tha manual subframe is norrower and this one fits, I spoke to CRS and they inform me this is normal to have to cut the sub frame?

Western wagon,
Actually the manual body cars do not have the returns that the auto has. The member for the manual runs straight from sill to sill. You have to cut it out to fit the transmission in the tunnel.
If you have a look at Garys black build he made a crossmember that bolts to the original floor pan returns, The Auto body is much stronger in this area compared to the manual.
CRS has definately gone to the dogs

I used to own a manual, and it was very different as you say. I am going to extend the trans x-member so it clears the sub frame. I will post some pics once done

I read Gary's post with keen interest some time back there are some great posts on this site (very helpfull)

yeah that was prolly me, the issue i had was where the chanell/floor bracing that runs out to sill is wider in a auto body to a manual body the section on the chassis kit has the 4 bolt holes, i did the same as garry and made a new gearbox cross member that bolted to the factory floor bracing

#3 is my fav followed closely by 2

infact #2s flash could go on #3 with the bottom flash line following the spat line and the spat front chrome would sit in nicely with the rear door piece

G Day All
Happy New Year, trust the festive season served everyone well.
Finally got some shed time today and managed to build the rotisserie.
Only took a few hrs thanks to Midalia cutting up all the tube to length.

Its built for an EK /FB or similar and the brackets bolt onto the firewall & rear bumper supports.




Hell of a lot cheaper than buying one.
Hope to get the wagon on there over the weekend.
Will come in handy as I just bought a ute and a sedan.

The heat finally let up a bit today so a day in the shed

Got the wagon rotisserie modified (bit top heavy) now works a treat. The looks like a good base

Water blasted 50 years of dirt and grime off, great job for a hot day. Tested the sand blaster it works a treat.

Will blast and paint the under carriage and fit the chassis kit over the next few days. Not sure weather to use POR or KBS leaning towards KBS as its local.

Will post more pics once done.
