Hi Guys,
Thanks for the kind words ! I must admit the endorphin levels go up when you get the thumbs up !
Clay,
The kick down is in fact mechanical, what you see near the pedal is a through the firewall terminal that brings my battery lead close to the starter makes it a bit neater, also I have used this supply for constant power to my fuse box.
Neil,
Tha gauges are classic instruments 57 chev, cost a bomb but i like them. They have been done before in EK's
BS,
Its a modified UC torry pedal. I made the bracket and utilised the existing holes in the floor and reshaped it slightly.
Regards Greg

No photos but happy days !!
Its alive !!!! Fired strait up off the key !!
The injection looks great pulsing the fuel into the throttle body, should do a video.
I also have brakes so this weekend I will check for gears, its drivable so that may happen as well !
So now the interior just in time for the warm weather to finish off the paint.
More photos soon
Regards Greg

Great stuff Greg, a huge milestone and always an unreal feeling having the first drive no matter how brief after putting all that effort in

Thanks guys,
Did a small amount this weekend as was at the races with the mates EH. Why do we do it ? Broken gear box Sat so changed it then the 179 split the bore, arghhhhhh !
Anyway, got these nice polished overflow tanks so one is for the radiator and the other will be for the windscreen washers.

Yeah yeah I know got to clean the stain on the radiator.
GPI,
I am using a Holley pro4 injection, its outdated as I've had it for years but initial run shows promise. Its a analog system that measures throttle position and delivers fuel in relation to that. It has six adjustments, idle low speed mid throttle etc etc.

Cool Greg....... more shiny bits

Looking at your radiator top hose, is that a filter you have there? Are you expecting some gunk to be circulating early in the running?
