well aher ahum I don know exactly but Ive got the paint from these bowsers ready to go .
In this pic they arent clear coated but when cleared look the same colour as that plymouth .
If anyone could photoshop a black lower section with a gold roof out of one of the real pics of the coupe Id be very greatful .
I love the one you have done scotty and would love to see a realistic version before making a decision .
Its the one thing in photoshop Ive never mastered "colour changing"

I think Ratbox is right about the FB flash visually shortening the door. That section ends up being only about a third of the full flash length which has the effect of fooling the eye into thinking it's much shorter - relative to the rear quarter - than what it really is.
I can imagine that lengthening the doors could look good in some respects, but I actually happen to really like their length now, ending just as the roofline begins to taper down. Lengthening now would really change the shape of the door and make a huge difference to the lines that you've currently got.
With all this in mind, I prefer the &*#@ flash (or something like it). It's shape helps to pull the rear quarter and door together a little more sympathetically than the straight run of the FB flash.
Just some thoughts.
Either way, really diggin' where you're going with the build.
Cheers, Scott
Hey Harko, If you need to lengthen the door, Couldn't you add some length to the skin and have it lap over the B pillar so the opening is the same but door skin length is visually longer? That way your not protruding into the rear window runner space.
Just a thought

Watch for the early bird, He might be just getting home.
Im actually trying to get the window join rearward and to do it might mean extending the door ....
Alot of pillarless door windows wind up then slide to the rear to meet up with the rear side glass , this would be perfect and I have some oldsmobile doors here that could donate for the deal BUT they cant doo this with a straight vertical A pillar.....
A 57 Chev does I hear you say , well your right but a closer look at a 57 door shows the door jamb rolls away from the window joint allowing more room in there...
Sorry for the delay ,phone lines down at the ranch.
I love the picture Scotty , thanks again for your time and effort mate .
Very surprised to come back after a short absence and theres only your comment Dave
The fin trims just sit that way , on the 57 the fin is a total different shape and angle.
