Floor work pretty much finished. Little bit to do under the hump and some general tidying up.
Other photos show work to be done. Not much now

Got a solution for this rubber?

I am hoping to use the best of the old rubbers I have. Clean them up and soften in sun. Alternatively, I have some formed v shaped rubber foam from Bunnings that could work too. Whatever gets used will have to be able to feed back in the gap once panel work is finished.

Tidied up a few loose ends today in preparation for rear quarter work. A little behind schedule but doing OK.

Thanks Clay. Did 7 plug welds in behind. Can just reach it without the back cabin bottom panel sections, but I think I would be glueing it otherwise. I will POR15 all the lower 1/3 in that cavity, including the floor.
I emptied another Argon/CO2 this morning. That's 6 D sized bottles and one full 5kg roll of wire (and well into another roll) consumed so far. There must be a bit of welding going on

Reckon so. I thought you should be able to get in behind. Itβs the top bit worries me re warpage.

A bit sidetracked today. Wet blasting K frames. A 'Unicorn' for Project 2 and a rusty norm for Black Ute.
2 pack etch coming up

That's a damn fine looking subframe in the foreground

Taken off a smashed rear end car in 1969 and shedded until I picked it up last year. Actually there are some pin holes right at the end of the firewall flaps that I could ignore or replace, but other than that it's perfect. The other one not so good....

Treated and etch primed both sub frames to stop the rust. Photo of passenger side rear quarter patch. Some serious panel work for this side soon.
