Last floor pan started. Under floor brace fitted and pan weld started. Hope to finish tomorrow before the festive stuff kicks in🥳.

Have a great Xmas and holiday break everyone. Image

Nice looking patch panel. Its all looking very tidy Brett. Good idea with the thinners. I hope you enjoy the day. We'll get back to the obsession next week no doubt.

Thanks Clay. I keep the thinners that I use to clean out the spray guns for this job. Just brush it on and then brush off the lifted paint. Don't even get my hands dirty.😁

Is that gun wash you use to clean the spray guns Brett. Steve my paint man, reckons the gun wash they have been getting is poor these days and maybe use budget thinners instead. I’m due for a refill on my 5gal drum.

Going to check with engineer if its ok to open it out for storage. Otherwise will just replace as standard. Its open now to give access to allow spot welding bottom of the rear quarter rust patch panels.

It's surprising that someone doesn't make a replacement panel for that section as a lot of utes & vans rust in that area.

I've got two upper section cuts to use to make one lower one if that's the way I go. Otherwise need a larger bead roller than I have to make it. I agree, it's a common rust spot it seems.

It’s usually only the bottom 60mm and not hard to make.

Floor work pretty much finished. Little bit to do under the hump and some general tidying up.
Other photos show work to be done. Not much nowImageImageImageImageImageImageImage
