Hey Andrew, have you considered a VN Fuel tank like in Brett's EK (blacky's old one)?
It's about 60L (almost double the size of the originals), you just have to get rid of your spare wheel well and weld or screw in a plate where the old tank was.
The ass end looks a whole lot better as well because you can't really see the tank, it has two brackets which just bolt up into the floor to hold it in place.

$200 from a wreckers I think.

Hi guys,

the engine is out!

No major hiccups encountered. Biggest surprise was the fact that almost every fastener on the engine wasn't very tight!

I am planning to do some work on the engine and engine bay over the next week and will hopefully be ready to install the new engine next week.

Andrew

for those that say it can't be done look at the sump, still not sure what this one is but it's definately not an EH sump and doesn't quite look like a HD/HR or H/KTG

are yo going for a bigger radiator andrew :?:

Looks HD HR HK HT HG to me, I had one on a motor that came out of an EK as-well.
I just recon you might need the engine mounts a little taller to make it work, not that Andrews look any different :D .

Yes I will go for a bigger radiator.

The sump is modified - it has been re-shaped and had a baffle added, but I don't know what it started life as.

Guys,

How should I go about converting my original fuel tank to suit a 1/2" fuel line?

I don't want to remove it from the car if possible.

Cheers
Andrew
