Cleared the wagon on the rotisserie out of the shed today to get some painting done on all bulk of the components.

Everything all clean and hung ready for some paint tomorrow

All etched and coated in GMH black.

Lack of Space: the stuff I am jealous of, but grateful for what I have. I’ve done my time on dirt floor sheds and driveways in the mud, so fibro and wriggly tin is not too bad. I’ve got 3’3” room fore/aft, 1’3” either side and 1’10” to the rafters. Plenty.

I’m hearing you… I call it the void!

It’s so good to be on the assembly stage, such a buzz to be bolting some small parts back up.

All the planning and work is finally showing some results.

Little wins like diff bump stops, battery tray and the PITA hand brake cable pivot

Next is the assembly of all the under dash components.

Does the brake pedal assembly need to have sealant on the face which bolts to the firewall?
And am I best off assembling the pedals on the bench due to the big spring that need to be fitted?

Also what have you guys used to make a new deal for the vent flap?

I haven't used sealant. Definitely bench-assemble. Use some sticky-back foam strip to seal the vent door.

Looking good Drew. Yes, it is a great feeling putting it all back together, better than it was when you got it. Given your attention to detail, it will be a cracker when it's finished.
