Jay - that's an awful Mess!......
I'd suggest CLR... might fix it up... the oil stains might need a bit of degreaser though.
What a great finish on the car, though!... POR15?
What have I done to you lot?.... does everyone now want a mirror finish on their subfloor..?
Great work, Jay..
With a finish like this on your sub-floor, you simply must do the diff and both fuel tank end and mud-flap hangers.
The fuel tank will need quite a bit of filling to get it flat - but it looks schmick from behind.... if not filled, it will show up all voids and will pulsate a bit in running...
The upper leaf of the rear springs also make the "finish" look complete..

Rosco

I'm very much impressed with your work, Jay - you've stunned me with it being enamel....
Glad to learn that you've already addressed your springs and diff etc.... work like this is becoming more common - and it certainly promotes the pride and commitment owners nurture within our era of Holdens....
If you want to go a bit "stupid" - polished stainless for some of the visible non-working rear fittings adds just a bit more to the effect.

Rosco

I've just painted my EK with killrust black paint also, except with a brush

, with a vastly different outcome

A paint brush?! Did you use a massive brush like Rolf Harris? I look forward to seeing your work on Saturday. After all the practice on your house, I'm expecting a flawless finish.

God damn... Nice
I get the feeling with both of us dropping in the 253's this is definitely a case of beauty and the beast... But loving your work mate keep going!
FYI mines the beast... Complete different style but that's the best thing about this game!

After our conversations and calculations mate went with the 15x6's probably could have got the 7's on the rear but
I want to lower it so this way I can drop it down at least a couple of inches
Thanks for all your help Blacky with the measurements much appreciated
