Re: Chev EK
Out in the sun today and the fun begins again, really need to use some spare time to paint before Chrissy !
I'm liking the stance already and hopefully it wont sag to much more, although still a lot to go back into it !!
Not sure on wheels , the old jellybeans suite the EK I must admit.

Nice stance indeed Greg. Jelly beans definitely get my vote. What are the details on the rear axle and wheels dimension wise mate?

Clay,
The jelly beans are 14 inch with the old 70 series tyres, They will be melted down with time !!!
I think these old cars always look good with a big bag tyre and I will probably keep it that way with whatever wheel I use.
The diff is the old faithful 9 inch cut down to suite the wheels in the arches, reversed eye springs and large spring saddles welded to the diff.
Got some more paint on the roof, turning out awesome, I got some specs of dirt as usual but will sand and buff to get it really good.
I'm happy with this and will progress to the body tomorrow !!!
More rubbing and looks like it will go quick hopefully.
Regards Greg

14 x 7 that's as big as you can go without tubs, although I pushed the inner tub in about 15mm.

The colour is snowcrest white. It is really glary in the sun so you cant see all my mistakes. Actually its come out really good.
Hours of research and nervous commitment !!!

Re: Chev EK
Thanks for the encouragement guys.
Stayed up late yesterday and got some colour on finally !!
Will have to look later today to see what it looks like in the sun, strange looking colour under lights. Still nervous when I pull the trigger but it looks ok ! Door jambs and quarters next, masking up takes a long time to do as well. I might have it done over the weekend, that's the plan anyway.

looking great Greg - colour going on is a great feeling
You will find me lost somewhere!
Re: Chev EK
Colour looks spot on in the second dash shot Greg. I bet you will be happy with the result in the end. You can’t beat an original colour scheme.

Re: Chev EK
Greg, looks amazing! Well done.
I spent today getting Leroy running better, so I’ll definitely head up tomorrow and check out your handiwork in person. I won’t stay too long - you’ve got important work to do!
Cheers, Joe
