Nice result on the wipers Blacky. That set up looks good. Had a look at the site http://kitstop.com.au/product/mxa041-wi ... per-timer/ and in the description it states that you can change the timing by changing one of the capacitors on the board. 30 sec seems like a loooooong time between wipes so I might give that a crack and report back. Cheap solution at roughly $32 delivered and seem to be reasonably common on the internet so future replacement from a failure might not be too much of an issue.

On its fastest setting they activate about every 3 seconds

Mine was waiting for me when I got home from Pondy last night.

ordered delay thingy, got the new wiper bushes that guy makes and have brand new wiper arms, now just have to stop all the water that gets in so i can drive it in the rain, people would carry on about driving the chopped car in the rain it had nothing on the car i have now and it has all it's windows and i haven't even taken it out in the rain it got drenched inside parked under a carport

I ended up running mine with a relay to do the hard work - pretty simple setup if you have the original wiring - I will draw up a circuit if anyone needs it ????

30 and 86 on relay the squigly line means goes to ground and 12v+ and com on timer both go to power?

Hey Blacky, bit the bullet and got a couple of these (figured I'd break one). Bench testing at the moment with a 2 speed wiper set up which has been a bit of a challenge which I will write up in my build. I have been triggering the bare wiper motor straight off the on board 10A relay but I think the extra relay you have used makes sense once all the bits are bolted on and are dragging rubber across glass.

Question for you - how are you switching between intermittent and and full wipe? From you wiring it looks like 2 switches.

In my initial trials the intermittent has to be separate to the normal 2 speed switch - would love to integrate it but haven't worked out how with the way that 2 speed set up is wired. I added a relay to disable the intermittent when you go full wipe, but when you turn them off it re enables intermittant. So it's still a two switch set up. It will make more sense when I write it up.

Yes this is a 2 switch arrangement - the original switch remains the same for continuous duties. Short of using a column mounted stalk with a rotary switch built into it like my work Hilux I don't know how else you could do it.

Blacky maybe Scott was asking can you turn the intermittent off or should I say stop the intermittent and then it wipes constantly, it was also a question in my head.
The wiring diagram that was in the ad on eBay showed the wiring from the intermittent switch splicing into the existing wiring not separate to the existing????
I may not be getting this across the same way it is in my head

The diagram is the same mate - the factory switch is up the top right and the intermittent potentiometer is separate to the wiper on/off switch.
