Started on the subchassis after taking doors off in preparation for the roof change.
My “not” most favourite job, drilling out spot welds

but I must be getting better at it by now

This has the usual rotted battery box area and the wings where it bolts to the firewall, just going to take a bit of time

Thanks Brett, I'm getting through it and am really looking forward to doing the roof it will be a really big step but I'm also apprehensive

cause if we mess this up then the whole project is down the drain.

I'm going through this at the moment with a 2 speed BA wiper using a delco switch. Obviously notgoing to help you much with your set up but I guess the concepts should hold.
Picture tell a thousand word. +12 to the NO side of the relay, the yellow wire is the park wire from the wiper. When intermittant switch pulses, it sends power briefly to the park wire which (I need to go back and look at this but pretty sure I'm not making it up), loops through the power on the delco (which in the off position is tied to the park wire) and that sends the wiper round once and back to park. Simple

I have removed the switch on the board and I am replacing it with a push push 500K linear pot so I can mount it on the dash more easily. Also swapped out the big capacitor near the relay to make it pulse faster. Will update my build with clearer details soon.
For your set up find the wire on the wiper side that will send the wipers round once by appling 12 volts to it.
This stuff is witchcraft - I used trial and error to finally get it to work. Cooked a board in the processs.
Earlier efforts.......
