I used a 2 speed Commode wiper motor on the 2 door hidden wiper conversion, they are a virtual bolt in.

All the info you need to do this mod is on the forum, but for the $250 ish asking price for the kit it’s not worth doing it yourself

So in the next couple of days I’ll be fitting the y frames back on.
Originally they had some black windscreen type of glue on the firewall faces.
Is it totally necessary to glue the frames to the fire wall?

I’m no expert but I do think it is Avery good idea for a couple of reasons. That is what the factory did. Will eliminate any give in the bolted fixings and resultant creaking. Done thoroughly it will exclude any moisture. I used sellys butyl mastic but found it hard to come by recently.

Good points Clay, I didn’t think of the possible noise of the panels moving.
Yes quiet would be best!

Got home from work with enough sunlight in the day to fit the under windscreen vent panel thingo.
Glued it on using SIKA 227 and then screwed it down .
It fit back into its place really well and I’m excited to see it slowly getting pieced back together.
