Joy on my face is an understatement. Everytime I go out to the shed even for unrelated FB stuff I hit the key on the old girl just to hear her purrrrr.
Today, tailshaft painted and in, front brake hoses made and fitted.
Also picked up carpet and underlay.
Tomorrow, bleed the brakes, oil in diff and fan belt on and coolant in.

Hey mate you know I have an electric guitar the exact same colour as what you've painted your car.
It's a great colour it's bright as all get out!
When I'm on stage the bright yellow really makes me stand out, this colour will do the exact same thing for your car, peolpe are not gonna have a choice but to stop, and stare as you drive by

Hey all,
A little bit more done, but mostly sorting out mechinical stuff.
I went to add coolant and more came out the seam of the radiator
than I could pour in. So another $220.00 for a new radiator tank
to fix the problem and it now holds water.
Another EBAY bargin, the radiator was ment to be in perfect condition
Anyway after many hours of stuffing around
trying to get air
out of the system it finally all works. It was a case of lots of reading
of the manual to sort things out.
So I've just added a couple of pickies of the engine all in. Just have
to get the A/C gassed up now. Some things are sent to test you I
tell you, after fitting all the A/C unit under the dash, when I turned
it onto high it vibrated like you wouldn't believe.
So just
before I started to pull it all out again I took off the front fan cover,
a job in itself and there it was a fukcen self tapper that had fallen
into the fan. Once removed it was perfect.
I also rust proofed the body prior to fitting the hood lining. For the
rust proofing I used fish oil with a mixture of very light oil. Boy I
hate rustproofing
Once that was done and a couple of days passed for all the shit
to run out I fitted the hood lining. Reasonably easy job to do, I
put it in place one day and held it there with bulldog clips to get
a few of the creases out. The next day I glued it all up and still held
it with clips. The following day it stretched out a bit so I retensioned
it all up again. Only have a couple of small rinkles now that time will fix.
And yes it finally does now drive

I think the car will drop another inch with the doors boot etc on.
Funny stuff that fish oil if you leave it on any sponge or fabric it can self ignite.
Did you brush it on or spray?
I think a day trip to Yamba will be on just to see the beast in the flesh.
