The oil filter is fine for clearance, just need to relocate the alternator as it was too close to the subframe. Have around 6mm clearance from the firewall and will need to reces the raidator to clear, other then that it is a snug fit.

Cheers guys.

Haven't done too much to her but got the chrome back the other day :D with the exception of 2 handles and the bonnet bar. :cry:
They need to be redone.

Every thing came up execllent who did the chroming and was there any pitting in castings etc tailights, parkers, before hand (pricey)

Got the chrome work done at Pioneer plating in Liverpool, they weren't too bad for cost, the cast items took a long time they had them since January and the bars only took them a couple of weeks. There was some pitting in the tail lights and door handles which they had to redo several times to get it right. :roll:

Steering column is VN commodore and the intermediate shaft is a modified one from V6 conversions together with the shortened rack and pinion.
