Hi Bex,
which type of fitting are your spats - I was looking at some from down here - marketed - but didn't like the fittings used.....

I hope not, Bex - ride it out -

Brakes -
does your car have disks on the front - excuse my asking if you have already announced this - if it's just the pads for the front discs - the job is 10 mins max per wheel - pads (Bendix) maybe $60 -70 - where's the $300 coming from.................?
Ladies I send to mechanics are pretty well versed before they get there......... have a pet hate for mechanics taking advantage......

Hi Bex,
glad to hear you have the pads under control - unless they need to do something with the calipers or discs - I cannot for the life of me put $300 on that little job.....

Spats done? - any pix......

The spats look similar to factory ones and they even came in your colour!!! Should look really good on the EK. I'd be out trial fitting them in the dark....

As for the venetian sometimes less is more. Some cars tend to end up looking like someone just grabbed every era specific trinket and put them on the car just for the sake of it. Restraint can be hard, but often rewarding. Otherwise known as the K.I.S.S. theory, keep it simple stupid!! Something I have tried to do with mine, although I really need to get it striped. Problem is the guy going to do it I'm lucky if I see him more than twice a year...
Speed and Style........... One day I'll get the speed bit.
