Caiguna was a pretty good stopover. Old but clean and friendly.

This central west time or whatever has got me chuckling. I mean, I get it, but........
90 mile straight was rivetting, of course, yawn.
40km short of Esperance, my under dash isolation switch went on the blink. Managed to get to the motel, and bypass the switch, but it entailed completely unloading the tonneau....
Good dinner a 10 minute walk away at the Pier Hotel, and ready to roll in the morning.

Sounds good Blacky. We are leaving Esperance about 7:30am. Which isn’t for another four hours yet. Bit of time for a fish at the wharf yet. Too dark for a surf as it’s a new moon.
Sadly we missed the Salmon Gums pub…..

making good time Clay .. must be the cruise control - the campervan doesn't have it and we usually take between 3 and 6 weeks to go across

That would be Roger driving the agenda, Paddy. I wouldn't mind taking a bit more time over it in Landcruiser, with surfboard and of course, Elle...
Greg's car under wraps for the night at Esperance.

Esperance surf check at the yacht basin.

Early morning dipstick check.

The forSA cars driving over together on the last day, Esperance to Bunbury.

Sam and Joe Crupi and families from Shepparton over took is along the way. Powering on in their grey powered wagons. Now safely tucked up on stormy Bunbury, about to have dinner with Shani, Blacky, and crew.

Well done folks. So the only issue was a Richard’s dodgy ball joint, your dicky switch and Philips alarm clock out of whack! Sounds like smooth driving.

The commercial end of town

Sunny Tim, my and Western Wagon's utes, and Drew's van.
Elle turned up. Accomodation is very nice. Even ridable waves at the beach across the road.

The view is the same, but now mother is on board the expenditure is justified. Apparently…..
