Had a great time. Think next year we'll be putting Tinas FB in the bus. Dont like all the cleaning, stone chips, terrible roads, animals over the road, cold motel rooms etc.
HMMM Trailer Queens... I guess if i had a vehicle that good I probably wouldn't want to drive it that far (over 2000kms)
The Nats...Was good to see such a high standard, so many storys behind some of those cars and always good to see the build up albums.
A big thankyou to Tina who i probably would not of attended without her help cooking and cleaning and putting up with me.

well put stewart re: trailer queens
i just don't see the point in owning a car unless you use it
there is worse the big super dooper show cars you might aswell just build models
Thanks Trev, the two trophies i've won i havent even been there to pick up, not really into them BUT in saying all that i do beleive the judges got it right.
Riley Thommo and Rays wins were a very fitting end to a wonderful trip and the fact there were no break downs....VERY HAPPY SOUTH AUSSIES.
Didn't even think to put it in most modified sedan, surely would win that one!

Thank you for a great nationals. To travel to the Forbes nationals it was almost 1200k's. (We continued on to Broken Hill and home to Mount Gambier via the Barossa Valley) We have no problem driving our panelvan to ALL events and nationals.
It was great to catch up with everyone, and also to meet the fellow S.A. fb/ek enthusiasts in person. We were cruising towards our holiday part of the trip to Broken Hill when you passed us near Mildura. On the way to Broken Hill we spoke to a truck driver in a servo who said he had passed some cars like ours near Mildura.. us S.A. guys were noticed...good stuff...How good is it to be cruising in our classic cars. eh!
ROLL ON YAMBA!
cheers Roger and Lesley
