Cheers Mai Ki, no everything will stay under the bonnet. For some reason best known to my iPhone, the angle I took the pic at makes it look like the carbs are sticking up.

cool, i know they're reasonably hard to come by and expensive but a finned alloy side plate would look the goods :thumbsup:

Yeah, I've kept an eye out for one of those for years Mick, but the guys who have them don't want to sell them.

Thanks Ian, yeah I know about the AussieSpeed ones and how they don't have the oil leak problems of the original alloy sideplates. I'll leave it for the time being, but I might be tempted to buy one later down the track though :thumbsup:

It'll be 10 years this November Russell :oops: :oops: :oops: Life kinda got in the way for a long time (stint in the US for a couple of years, marriage, house, child, yada, yada, yada).
If it turns out as nice as your Shalimar Blue one, I'll be happy :thumbsup:
