Hi Z,

Works a treat.

It looks great too. Must be very satisfying.
You do realize that you are certifiably 'Car Crazy'?
Did you get the motor sorted?

Thanks Alan, we are thrilled with this car. Very lucky to have paid more to own it, then what was being offered ... could have been metallic Pink by now!
Car Crazy ... is that's where I got the name Wacko Jacko
The motor is turning well now, has spark to the plug, spraying clean fuel. not a kick. might have to take the white glove off and get my hand dirty

Hi Muza, two Nitro horn buttons have come up one eBay over the past month. You'll find one I am sure. If I see one I will PM you.
Fernando is a Beautiful Colour. The original finish is a little yellow due to fade and ingredients, compared to the current Acrylic mix that is always a little greener.

Hi Woody, thanks so much for you kind comments.
They do come up, but very seldom as original as this one.
Thanks for the encouragement

Hi Muza, no, not really, because most people think they are a Blue or Green version just faded
I remember tricking one of my dear friends back in the mid nineties ... I had a very early nitro FB Panelvan ... must have been buckskin ... people didn't look at the ID tags then, they thought it was all factory "goggly glop. I told him it was gold Lion and Stars because it was an "Easter Special" .... that joke still caries today between us.
Have you got a thread in MYfb-ek with your Fernando? Love to check out the pics and progress pics. Glad you are fixing her up.
