Haven't done I yet, but others I've seen show the engine mounts as far back as they can go and radiator and fan fits but not much space.

So it will be close :D :D

Alright today was pretty eventful.
I woke up with swine flu.
then went to buy some soccer boots as my game was in 10 minutes and my other pair ripped last match.
Made it to the game, lost 2-1.

Then I went to rare spares to pick up a speedo cable, I bought one which is probably a bit to short and doesnt have a drive on the end

Some strange lookin fella was buying an engine mount next to me and I noticed a green fb with dark green flash... I asked him if he was on the forum and strangely - he is!!! (hi marty)

A few weeks ago we managed to get the engine in, and a few mondays ago we did the front crossmember engine mounts.

So while he was fabricating the gearbox mount, I put locking nuts on my lowering blocks and cut the excess off the bolts (cos what I had on before was dodgy and eventually I would have left the diff behind at the trafffic lights)

This is what it looks like under the car with a new set of pacemaker extractors

yeh u too,
ummm we think it might be a bit short (didnt really get a chance to fit it) but its significantly smaller then the grey-hydro one.
So i might go back and get a longer one (and the plastic drive thingy on the end)

Hi J,

I was just going back over some of your earlier posts and noticed that you have a gearbox pictured that you say is a trimatic, don't be surprised if you only end up with two forward gears because I'm pretty sure that's a powerglide. Also if it is the plastic speedo drive gear will be different from a trimatic.
Good luck mate looks great in green.

 I was scared for a second!
I am just wondering what the order for gears are on a trimatic.
Park is obviously far right....

How to get angry and frustrated!!!!
I haven't been able to get it working properly yet!
I've used a HR neutral saftey switch for trimatic and can't seem to locate the moving switch into its slot? The plastic gear inticator has been alot easier to do. Mr Minute!!! engraving place. he sands down the plastic so the letters are removed, Polishes it back up and then engraves the letters back where you want them.
Will get to the saftey switch over the next couple of weeks as I have been cleaning out the shed and making Kustom bits for the Wagoon!!
