the exhaust flanges are an ebay special... there's a few different mobs selling them and the bends from an exhaust shop out canning vale way, most exhaust shops should be able to sort the bends and reducers etc.. out for you if you know what you need.
do a search on here for log headers theres a few different types.. and this guide

And let the puzzle begin... HQ sump base... Old racing sump a mate had that threw a rod... Random steel I'll figure out the pickup later
Hopefully have it sorted next weekend but it's a good start at least... Still got the dipstick to move and then patch that section as well...
I shall call it FRANKENSUMP!!!
Cheers

Frankensump getting there... just got to weld in the new dipstick location (and build a pickup but thats future Nathan's problem...
got myself a new dipstick for it however
as a result of the sump being pretty much finished... gearbox and dummy block out (hopefully the next engine going in will be staying haha)
cut out the scallops. made a few fill in pieces should get the fully in and the firewall fully sorted in the upcoming weeks
oh and maybe weld the engine mounts properly ha
Cheers

well it might not seem like a lot bit... firewall sorted, holes filled, recess fully welded and cleaned, exhaust scallops fully welded and cleaned, engine mounts fully welded everything primed etc... pretty stoked to be honest.
couple small jobs to go and hopefully body / paint shop
got myself a HQ pickup just needs to be extended an inch or 2 for the sump, but thats a future problem.
Cheers

might not seem alot but when it's something like a conversion and you have now basically made it paint and then fit motor it's a big step

yeah cheers boys... need to write myself a new job list to keep on track, contact Redbeard about my engine, might get my pickup done first then i'll drop it off to him (guessing he still hasn't started haha which suits me)
you home next weekend Blacky? might try and get up there and raid the parts stash for those bits, and drop your heads back...
Cheers

This looks promising... better pick an exact colour soon (its down to a few choices at least)
will be straight and primed within a few weeks, probably wont see colour until the new year however.
not really much more to add... need to go through the boxes of parts now and find out whats missing... might need to hit up EKmart yet again
Cheers
