Then on Saturday I door knocked the neighbours again to get the wagon back in the garage. The plan was to get it back on the trolley and wheel her into the garage and set up some car stands. Too easy!
Except that the trolley decided to quit on us
Not to let that stand in our way...with the neighbours help - Greg, Will, Sarob, Peter and I carried Old Timer the 30 metres or so back into the garage
How's your back Pete?

...mines still sore...

The back's ok, though It's only when you carry a car that you realise how sharp the bottom of the sills are

Wonder how many people have actually carried an EK Wagon? It would have been amusing to watch but didn't feel like it at the time...

My two girls were quite worried about it all.
Wayne - One of the trolley legs for the wheels gave way. It had only a couple of welds holding it together so it was a matter of time...just that the timing was really bad...

If you can get your sedan on a rolling rotisserie that is a much better way to do it. Have a search of the forum for "rotisserie" and you should find some examples. Basically two engines stands bolted to each end of the car and connected to each other at the base by steel.
Thanks Trev.

Thanks DR and Paul - seeing that paint go on was the best feeling.
Rusty - you must be speaking from experience...that night the family was out so I went and sat under the carport and looked at it whilst eating dinner...

I also rang Luis and Pete (Cal) to come by to check it out!
Thanks Mat. For sure...would be good to catch up.
