So I suppose overall progress is that I basically have all of the repairs completed to the floors/lower half of the body, I do have a little bot on the passenger side dog leg to do.
I'm about to put the rear independent end under the wagon with tyres on to make sure that I have enough clearance between the diff cradle and the body before welding in the piece of sheetmetal that replaces the original diff hump, a couple of smaller dents and repairs, sort out a fuel tank, I think it will be a sedan tank sideways in the space once these smaller bits are sorted then The Rev is going to Keith's who is going to help me do the roof change and the firewall that needs replacing hopefully this will be early in the new year all going to plan

Got a bit of time yesterday on the passenger side dog leg, think I have all the big patches in, bit more of a clean up inside the wheel arch and have to chase some pin holes.

Now I need to weld in the clearance plate for the independent rear suspension so I have moved the suspension under the back end, get it into the hangers then I can make sure I have enough clearance and also check tyre clearance.
It isn't in the hangers yet that's why it doesn't look centered under the diff hump

After struggling with a couple of jacks and some strong words I was able to get the rear end into the wagon, I have room around the suspension so will be able to weld the plate in.

Wheels are in the centre of the wheel arch

Once I get some tyres on it I can lower it onto the ground and set the shock height.

Looking at tyre spacing had a couple of 225/50/16’s fitted to rims and put them on this afternoon when I got home, have room but may need to roll the wheel arch a little.

Obviously it is not on the ground yet, have set the coil over shock height once I have weight on it but pretty happy with it at the moment.
