Thanks Clay, I guess I have introduded a new problem with torana callipers and 13inch rim clearances. Will check my rim stash to see if either the 13 inch chromes or jellybeans will fit over them. A new question: do FB Special glovebox lids have the Special badge?

Brett,

You're OK using HR wheel centres with Torana discs and calipers - but the track is increased close to an inch. With Torana wheel centres you'll be fine, and maybe your jellybeans' offset is correct for Torana discs.

Plenty of 13" and 14" torana offset wheels around that will bring the track back in.

Another question: are the boot hinges painted black including where they bolt on to the boot lid? If not, has anyone got any pictures to show what they should look like please?
This is what car looked like when I got her, but it had been resprayed a few times and I don't know if this is factory look.

Brett,

The condition of the paintwork in the boot suggests it's factory original. If you duplicate it, you can't go wrong.

Thanks Clay, I see you have a bit going on too.
Big shed clean out coming up including floor wash, before interior and door jam final coats, panel hanging and then full on paint splash. Going to be a busy couple of weeks. Glad to be away from power tools now too.🙄
