right house , wrong street - under the bonnet , i.e. bonnet underside is body colour
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

Working on bootlid today. As usual with Wilma, rust hiding everywhere. Replaced a few 3cm wide strips (along base near beaver panel where water collects I guess) and will rust treat it as well as I can to stop any further outbreaks. Had the choice of using a pristine EK bootlid but decided to keep with original and do the work. Will flog that off in time. Wilma's really needed to have the skin removed but just couldnt bring myself to do it.
NOS bonnet next. No rust but a few dints.

Strange . . . the EK bootlid is so pristine it doesn't have a hole for the lock.

Oops. One of the disadvantages of non-voice communications media. Allow me to adopt a more neutral wording:

"The EK bootlid doesn't seem to have a hole for the lock."

3.08:1. Had this combo in my sedan for years before switching over to 202 and trimatic. 205 60 13 tyres worked great urban and highway.
