Glad to hear someone else has hassles muckin' around with pearls, Rusty.
This car is a credit to you..and will be eye-candy to anyone that it passes on the road.

(or should that read you pass on the road!)

.
I gotta hand it to you ...this little ute is a wonder of modern engineering!
Scotty.

A bit more Botox on the old girl and she will be good
It's an admirable effort that's for sure... you're going to have to display the concrete when you show the car... IMHO you've redefined the meaning of "too far gone".

Scotty , think I have way stepped over the limits of my painting ability's

but you will never know if you don't have a go .
Stewart , way happy with some colour going on , cant wait to do the whole thing .
Andrew , got a couple of nice pieces of concrete put aside .

Hey Rusty,
No need to rush now, it will all come together nicely in the end !!
I must agree with the comment about the car taking some of your life but hey I'm sure it will give back some as well.
Have you got those bushes yet ??
Regards Greg

G,day Danny ,Thanks for that , you and your Dad are doing a great job on your project also , looks good .
Got the motor and gearbox back in today , took a bit of shuffling about , amazing how much things can change when you pull them apart and put them back together .
Had to trim a little bit off the drivers side engine mount and had to cut the drivers side extractors and change a couple of pipes .
But she is in and everything clears now , looks like I will even be able to get the steering through without much drama
Got back on to the steering column also , made up a cone piece to go on to it to try and tidy it up , welded it on and sanded it up , bit of filler on it and paint it ,it should look OK
Also my adjustable bushes for the front end turned up Friday ,so I will be able to start putting that back together

Um no

, ha ,ha, ha lol , bugger , that's what happens when you try and jump a step , that's your fault Greg for stealing the last bushes

well spotted
Geez , haven't even had a beer this weekend so I cant blame that , have had that front end in and out of position a dozen times I knew they had to go in first , have to blame old age I guess .
Just went down and had a look , should be able to slide the bracket over the top , if I let the 4- front bolts holding the Torrie front in go and let the body hinge up off the back 2 , should have just enough room , I hope

.
Am off to give myself a stern talking to now
