good on ya for coming on down shedpest
phew...a massive effort from all involved, great turnout, perfect weather & valuble experience for the club
great support from club members/entrants, especially those that went out of thier way ie (roger,lesley/brian,monica) - for travelling a long distance...& (basicgreen, classic62) for bringing their unfinished projects

its fair to say, that on the same weekend as the tour down under - to be pushing 100 earlys with a steady stream of onllokers, was a great result
also, must mention 30 or so fb/eks
heres some images from the day

amazing fe...owned by a young lady who'd enherited it off of her great grandfather, & restored it as part of a school project - still on her L's

Agreed Ray, It was a great effort by the club
Many thanks to all the members who pitched in on the day
For a first up effort by our club to run an event, it was a huge success.
We know we can do it, we know we have the support.
Congratulations all.

Hows the rocker cover on this FE,
I have never seen one before.
It had 'Silent Seal' cast in both ends.

great pics guys
i would just like to again thank the club members who helped out on the day
it was a great day and to have so many cars in one spot all taking part in our clubs first event is a fantastic achievement
this was a big step for our club, and i think we pulled it off well
with over 20 of our own club members cars on the reserve and also picking up 3 new members on the day .
BIG thanks to all our sponsors as well in supporting our clubs first event
GREAT JOB
cheers dave

looks to be a good turnout and a great looking venue congrats
the WA boys complain us eastern states have more than our fair share of FB/EK's but looking at that they should be looking south not east

seem to be a much better turn out there than you see at eastern state shows

early holden day

Hi folk
Have just arrived home from having a great time at the s.a. club's 1st Early Holden Day. Thank you for making us welcome and was great to re-new aquaintences and meet other members for the first time.
The turn out of club members to support the day is to be commended.
To the whole team it was a great effort and we will definetly be back next year.
regards
Roger and Lesley

Well done on a first time event guys. Not an easy task and a nasty learning curve, but very rewarding in the end. Looks like you did a really good job. Some seriously cool rides there.

G'day all
I came down later in the day to the Holden Day and had a chat to a couple of people. Thanks to those who made me feel welcome - everyone was very friendly. I will keep searching for my EK/FB and hopefully next year I will be driving my own to the Holden Day!
Cheers
Kat

Gday Kat,
Glad you could make it down
I was the guy you spoke to initially, in the morning (with the turqoise ek wagon)
& later in the day, when you returned - unfortunately we were packed & ready to roll, so couldnt go for a drive
but great to talk to you, share some advice & touch base with you
there was a nice fb for sale there on the day, but a little expensive at $18K - or whateva it was
im sure one will show up sooner or later, so hang in there
& we'll let you know if anything shows up
cheers Ray
