The missus went down to the stables where we have our horse agisted last night to feed up etc and got talking to a bloke down there named Colin, Top bloke who looks like a 70's rocker because of his shoulder length grey hair and mostly wears a denim jacket. They got talking about cars as he is a fan and asked about our cars and what we have, Michelle listed them all and finished with "and the FB" he has seen this car only once and it was a while ago. "Oh yeah, that's right I forgot about that car" he then went on to tell the wife how hid son has just moved out to Loxton S.A and was out driving when he spotted a old car in a farmers paddock, naturally curios he stopped and enquired about it. He got talking to the farmer and struck a deal, turns out the car is an EK and in pretty good condition. It has a few rust spots and is missing both front guards and a door but has no structual rust, Y frames are apparently very good. The best bit is the farmer didn't want it to seize up so he would regularly go out, start it up and drive it around the paddock just to keep everything moving. The motor from what I hear runs like swiss watch.
And the price.....
$350

The new owner plans to get it back on the road and enjoy it. Now that's a lucky bastard. I should see Colin this week so I'll bail him up about it!
