Just noticed the Valiant talk love valiants when I grew up my grandparents got a new one every 4 to 5 years. They still have a 79 CM regal sedan which was the last car they ever bought. 265 air steer car has never rusted still in mint order mind you the car lives in Warwick and does not roll out of there anymore. one of my earliest memories was their VG coupe and my uncle had one as well. One of my family cars when I was growing up was a VG sedan that my Dad bought off his Aunt about 1988 was a cool car Sunnytim would remember it. Valiants I have owned a truckload
1 AP5 wagon
1 AP6 sedan
1 VC sedan
2 VE sedans
1 VF regal coupe
3 VGs two coupes one sedan
Most of these were good cars majority having whitewalls nice cruisers. Proud to own them.

I'm confused, has a beer arvo happened since this post started ? Not much else to do at the moment, but I'm not sure how far I can get.
My Valiant is going to have to be my daily driver for a while (rusty old girl is still registered) , but at the moment I can only get 100m at a time before it cuts out and once it really warms up I can't start it again until it cools down.
Electronic ignition issue, I'm working on it, slowly. So I don't want to go too far, until I can get it running reliably, or I could get a lift from one of my boys
Depends how far you want to go for a drive, how about this Sunday 16th Nov at 1pm at the Burpengary Tavern, just off the Bruce Highway. It's actually on Old Bay Road, map attached. Any takers?
