Just noticed the Valiant talk love valiants when I grew up my grandparents got a new one every 4 to 5 years. They still have a 79 CM regal sedan which was the last car they ever bought. 265 air steer car has never rusted still in mint order mind you the car lives in Warwick and does not roll out of there anymore. one of my earliest memories was their VG coupe and my uncle had one as well. One of my family cars when I was growing up was a VG sedan that my Dad bought off his Aunt about 1988 was a cool car Sunnytim would remember it. Valiants I have owned a truckload
1 AP5 wagon
1 AP6 sedan
1 VC sedan
2 VE sedans
1 VF regal coupe
3 VGs two coupes one sedan
Most of these were good cars majority having whitewalls nice cruisers. Proud to own them.

I'm confused, has a beer arvo happened since this post started ? Not much else to do at the moment, but I'm not sure how far I can get.

My Valiant is going to have to be my daily driver for a while (rusty old girl is still registered) , but at the moment I can only get 100m at a time before it cuts out and once it really warms up I can't start it again until it cools down.

Electronic ignition issue, I'm working on it, slowly. So I don't want to go too far, until I can get it running reliably, or I could get a lift from one of my boys

Depends how far you want to go for a drive, how about this Sunday 16th Nov at 1pm at the Burpengary Tavern, just off the Bruce Highway. It's actually on Old Bay Road, map attached. Any takers?

Enjoyable afternoon, great turn out, didn't get everyones names, but at least 20 turned up. Should have got a group photo. :D

Didn't get the Valiant going, looks like I'll have to get a professional. Won't start unless I run a lead from the Negative on the battery to the positive on the electronic coil. Still cuts out after that.

Got a photo of Richard's wheels before they left. And what a wonderful storm we had after that. Need another temporary shed, Again.

Kate sorry to hear that Richard has wrecked your EK wagon to make a trailer.

Craig, you really should check with Lisa before you make any comments.  She may not agree with you, nor approve of what your doing. Does she even know you are on the computer and not doing your chores.

Did you know you can get the thumb mark tattooed on, just in case the real one ever fades.

I want a Red. (No I don't have to ask my wifes permission first) 8) 8)

Greys and grey hair are too much at the same time. Maybe it's pearl white, I like that better.
