Done - brakes bled and took it home today

Made a couple of covers over the exposed electrical bits that had a bit of a habit of shorting out when the toolbox was full of crap

I bought them for my HZ ute, sold the ute and kept the wheels so rather than have yet another set of wheels cluttering up the shed ........

Finished off the covers tonight, well apart from topcoat because I didn’t have any white paint …. Gave my new spot welder its first run, works good




Then started restoring this old tractor wheel for my bride - she wants it mounted next to the recently completed Metters oven so we can stack wood in it ……. I gotta stop sleeping I don’t have the time

That looks like Electron Blue otherwise known as Brooklands blue otherwise known as the colour of Cleanaway trucks. I know because I painted my FJ ute in 1999 that colour and had it on the road for 18 years. That one you bought I think was originally from Belmont NSW.

No idea what blue it is, the sandblasters were painting a crane in it and when I dropped it off for blast and prime he said "we can topcoat it as well if you like , what colour are you going? I said i dont care and he pointed to the crane and said we are painting the crane in that colour again" so its Crane Blue
