Oh well probably a good way to amuse yourself for a bit for just $10

I should have parked the car facing the room.

Apparently I nearly gassed Elle in the shower while I was warming the car up.

Canberra tonight.

I dropped Elle at the airport so she can go home to care for the mutt.

Eating the leftovers. Cold chicken salad about the best meal yet, after some Grant Burge sparkling with Lisa and Richard.

Flogged back down through Cooma to Lakes Entrance. I do like the long open sweeping sections of the Monaro Highway from Canberra to around Bombala, not so much the tired southern end. Relatively uncrowded with adequate overtaking opportunities.
First a surf check at Red Bluff

and Lake Tyers Entrance

Followed by a dinner of prawns and stout while watching the sun set at Bullock Island, opposite the mouth.

They’re leaving Canberra this morning for Mildura I think. I’m about to head off to Sorrento Ferry, 4 hours drive.

Made it on the ferry at Sorrento.

$80 for a 45 minute trip and it wouldn’t be half full.

Warmest day of the trip.
