I’m probably a bit biased having owned a HX which was worse for the anti pollution power drain. Also the HX was between HK and EK in my ownership profile, and I fitted 225 tyres all around on 7” rims. Tyre shop advised that was the widest practically, but it made the steering very heavy.

Another bit done - cut out donor piece and scribe
Trim, fettle and tweak - a lot

i paid $800 for mine delivered from Brisbane and felt ripped off, but i did only buy it for parts and only for pissy fiddly parts that a panelvan i had didn't come with, i figured nobody would want this and sent it to SIMS, maybe i was wrong

HHHHMMMM - be a lot easier to tek screw the bastard in - chop the bottoms off them and a bit of seam sealer and nobody would be the wiser

Another step closer , a bit over 100 welds some of which actually stuck
Then made this bit up and zapped it I. To complete this side of the old rusty shotbox
