Hi Alex,

Many thanks for posting those pics. Trevor is entered as member #1 on our books and is a also a life member of the Club. Have spoken to him on the phone a few times. It would be great to meet up with him one day...especially this year as the NSW Club is celebrating 30 years...

Any chance of seeing the other pics in your collection?

regards
Stewart

Thats the real deal right there Ratbox, although the bonnet pins were gone by the time it made it to Sydney. The sticker on the rear bumper and that horrible aerial are giveaways. The car was Vic registered when we got it , the LAW 540 plates were lifted off one of the film crews Commondores for filming purposes- if you look carefully the Rammer gives the Commy a nudge in one scene and it has the same plates on it but they made the L into an E

Hi All
I watch them make some parts of that movie when i was living in kurnell before i moved down to dapto. When they do the 50 buck trick at the servo that is the servo up the road from where i lived at Kurnell and when the 57 did the burnout before the race was at miranda just off president ave.I watched them do that scene and what a hell of a car.

You're right Rat , I reckon they are 2 different cars too. The NSW one appears to be a replica for those reasons you mentioned....

this is getting all very confusing to the best of my knowledge we are looking at 3 different cars here
1. being the original movie car (big arial (vic plates not in movie) )
2. blackies copy unknown origin (lots of differances)
3. vals (the one in DNA's pic) which as far as i know he did himself

sputz knows val if you read this did he do the car or buy it
