go the wagons....
Re: blacky's idea...
Only way to achieve this would be air bags, looooow cars tend to be choppy in their ride quality....mattymartin wrote: as i'm having the same problem... i want it loooow BUT, i would also ike a comfortable ride...

Speed and Style........... One day I'll get the speed bit.
dragways
Very nice clean car, Mark.
It looked great at the nats - many people made comment on your steed.
I haven't decided on wheels as yet. I used to have "torana" trims on the original 13"s with chrome domes and nuts.
Then decided to put the hub caps back on and ditch the trims (two rusted out eventually after their regular dunking when launching a boat).
When I fitted disc brakes, I had to go with HD/HR rims to keep it close to standard. My (then) insurance company (RACV -1983) wouldn't let me change from 4.5".
I can now (Shannons) widen the rim size. Will probably go with 14x6"s possibly 15"s. Increasing diameter should resolve the caliper issue and permit a reasonable offset. Will contact a systems engineer to find out what is legal here in Vic. but haven't spoken with anyone on this as yet.
Hope the forum can advise of any unforseen problems...................?
I always thought dragways were just the "bees knees" on early Holdens but couldn't justify the cash.
Now I can't make up my mind. If it wasn't for the collective, the choice would be a lot harder.
I think it is an individual thing, we are all very proud of what we have and choose to show each vehicle as we like it to be seen.
I think Thommo has a clever outlook - know I won't be "throwing" any of my stuff away.
Thanks for your pix Mark, wagon looks great.
frats,
