Saw a chopped ute years ago and the humble beer can was used to measure the windscreen opening. The guy also chopped the hump in the dash out so he could see the road!

Yeah it is but the easy going engineer who didnt blink an eyelid at it being on a full chassis , or a tilt front , or suicide doors .
He lazily said yeah they would all be OK but that chop worries me , You may have to lift it :x
Closer inspection ruled it in OK.

I havent got all of these mods but after being turned away from two other engineers I decided to call his bluff hehe , he retired on me ...

Ratbox yes they are two different vans the lite blue one was my first van i did and the dark blue one was the second better bodied one .and yes some people think they are abit too chopped but thats the height i think they look good at .

Hemi it was five years ago i brought the shell off of you and there is a massive amount of work gone into the ute and with the limited hours I get these days due to work . Current driveline is 308 with 8/71 supercharged twin 850 double pumpers
powerglide trans with a much shortened Dana 60 diff rear end tubbed for 15inch X15 inch centre lines

the only thing with a supercharged 265 hemi in is my toyota KE20 corolla
which I must say goes F%#ckn hard.
hoping to have the ute finished for Gazzanats this year

Time flys!!
The cook says she moved into this house 26/1/01 and it was sold a while b4 then. Maybe you work too hard!!!
I thought you were putting the 265 into the ute? remembering that was my choice of engine.
One thing i did when inundated with work was to pay someone to help, seams to get three times the amount done.
Would love to see a front on pic.....please.

ratbox no ive been only doing my cars and one other EK van in SA. DR Chops Mate used to live next to me years ago when i had a big block Monaro. I always wanted to do an EK after seeing DR chops Animal ute
That i think is in NSW now (seen in an old street machine mag). I beleive Dr chop has only done 2-3 FB-Eks but numerous other vehicle mainly rods
