When I had my first FB I must admit I removed the middle inserts from the grill.
I think the 3 bars looks more balanced. :)

I like the three bars but I'm biased...

As for seeing my car at the last two Kustom Nats, this year yes, last year no. That would be the flat white/candy red twin.

14's you can go HK-T-G but you'll need to check for clearances, HT-G may need the offset changed to clear HR discs. Trev is one to ask for that he went through it not all that long ago.

:? I thought HT/G rims had more offset (out) than HK rims (4 pairs of slots) and would therefore have a better chance of clearing HR discs??

BTW, I cant decide which I like best - the 2 bar or 3 bar.... Both look great!

Only one I go to is the one at Johns Rod and Custom in Berwick. Real low key and a heap more fun. Suffering from cruise night burn out after hitting nearly everyone around when they first started. Plus I don't need an event to go to as a reason to drive one of my cars. Past all that...

They do, but I've got torana discs and mine fitted with no problems. Trev had HR and had issues.

Yeah, that looks pretty cool. I like the little bit of interest in the middle of the bar. That's where I'd do a little bit of work finding something with a Holden emblem and a little bit of colour.

I know it's been done before but you could use a cam shaft as a single grill bar.

OK, out of left field....don't laugh....make the camshaft actually turn when the car is running (little 'lekky motor or something).

Can you imagine the effect of a chrome camshaft turning about 200 rpm as a grill :esurprised:
