that's pretty much it
not sure on the guard trimming, not that i don't like it just the same as the radiused guards if i leave it stockish bodied it's basically change the springs to change the style of the car
big thanks scotty to for once again turning a picture in my head into something that others can see

Re: pain in the rrrs stuff laying around
The guard trim is just following the line that is already there...be easy enough to weld it back on if you wanna change it
.
I actually like the trimmed guard on this & by using an FB mustache mold it follows the line nicely.

Looks cool Scotty, and I like the guard cut. You could always leave the guard and just paint that section black.
Look forward to seeing it come together RB.

Hey Ratbox,
Did you lengthen the front doors ? If so by how much?
Are you going to chop it?

Re: pain in the rrrs stuff laying around
thanks fellas, yor dead right thommo the same could be said about factory chop tops
or just about any custom work
but then it wouldn't make the things we do just that bit extra special
doors are 4" longer and we narrowed the centre pillar so if i leave the front flipper or 1/4 vent window out the front door glass and the rear side glass will both be 27" long we possably should have made the doors 5" just so the front is a touch longer, i want the side glass to be pretty much even in length alot of the ones i've seen have a huge front glass and a tiny rear and i don't really like that look i'm going for the 2 door post chev look, at this point it won't be getting chopped but that can change it was/is very close to be doing the same as my old one chopped pillarless i have an idea and a spare roof, biggest prob is i'm getting old and i'm not overly keen on the cold to much anymore and don't want to root around with side glass like harko (not saying it's a bad idea i just couldn't be bothered
) so i'de say the chop won't happen but untill both sides are competely finished never say never

Good work RB, proportions are great. Especially the pillar/rear side window. Bring on the Pork Hunt!!!!

Speed and Style........... One day I'll get the speed bit.
Re: pain in the rrrs stuff laying around
Thanks for the reply Mick.
My coupe doors are also 4" longer than standard. I figured it'd be about right for proportions. I never really thought of 5", hm. Nah, 4" looks good to me too

Re: pain in the rrrs stuff laying around
we were talking about taking it to the AHD in a very unfinished state but drivable, we'll see alot depends on my panel beater, i'm in no hurry either this spurt of work was basically to make it unsellable
