Re: Our Egyptian Tan EK
The ol' girl scrubs up really well! Very nice.
Speed and Style........... One day I'll get the speed bit.
Re: Our Egyptian Tan EK
Hey Fellas,
Beaut day here today so decided to take the EK out for a bit of a cruise. Ended up going a fair way down the coast and back home through the hills.
Took a few quick snaps along the way!

Cheers Matt

Re: Our Egyptian Tan EK
One thing I noticed about this car...................
it is the classic example of what the old Holdens were like...........(what do I mean by that?)
Well, many of the old holdens we see today are festooned with Nasco and period Accessories.
note this car has none. This was the norm and very common.
No outside mirror, No wheel trims, no spats, no venetians. barely a radio. Sometimes teh radio was a small transistor that hung from the mirror!
This is how I remember these great cars. Wow! That takes me back to the mid 60's.
If you ever want to sell her...I'd be interested!

Cheers for the coments!
Yeah thats one thing i like about the car also. Just a stock special without all the flare!
I think the colour combo looks better without wheel trims. seems to complement the roof colour better!
As for a radio, i had my trusty pocket wireless sitting on the front seat next to me... But i think we will add a period radio at a latter date!
Sorry to say mate, but this one wont be for sale! Can see myself driving this one occasionally for years to come!
Cheers Matt
