That red trim looks awesome!
Cheers,
Harv
Gday Harv!
Yes it looks cool, my mate managed to save all of my trim with some repairs but the front seat was too far gone.
It’s a bloody bright red but it’s also obvious why it’s the only piece fixed… because it was totally shagged.

Bought a nice set of twin carbies for the old grey donk

The rear ‘beaver’ panel caused me a lot of brain hurt to get it done.
Many failed attempts at shaping pushed me back to basics and it just made it out of many smaller pieces.
Not the way I wanted to do it but bloody hell I just had to get it done.

Very happy to see the end of that job
Looks pretty average in the photos but in real life it’s not too bad haha.
Would have loved to have done better but it’s a bastard of a piece to copy

Picked myself up a new rig for the front garden to piss the neighbours off!
I actually like they they don’t talk to me, I don’t get the real estate agents and door to door sales people anymore either.
Everyone should have a skeleton in the front yard… His name is George.
The kids are scared of him…. Excellent.
This wagon was on a farm in the barossa for 30 years on its belly.
Bloke wanted it gone, didn’t want anything for it.
I loaded of some springs, diff, front end and steering box and went up there with a car trailer.
He had it up on a fork lift and I put $100 in his hand.
Fitted all the gear to get it rolling and shaboom here it is.

Beaver panel looks good to me Drew. Good score on the wagon. Those carbs might be on backwards by the way. They do look nice.

In the plan to prep and paint the underbody, the firewall came into question.
Yes it was rough so I made the crazy decision to garnet blast the fire wall in the shed.
Bloody hell what a mess it made.
But it is bare metal and the width rust converter soaked straight into it.

That Wurth rust converter is amazing stuff.
Not acid based which is great and it conditions bare metal perfectly

Great work Drew,
Metal work is relatively easy but extremely time consuming. It will take shape and look the goods in the end i'm sure.
