Sorry to hear about the bonnet bar, I just think people don't seem to care a smuch now days about services that they are supposed to supply and put there hands in the air and say stiff shit.

Neil
Thanks Neil - Its a great feeling seeing these things looking like they rolled off the assembly line - must have been a great sense of pride to the workers of the day

Engine bay looks fantastic Rob. Not cool about the bonnet bar. There aren’t enough of those around to waste like that and they are not cheap.

Looking pretty bloody spiffy mate, don't think I would be worrying about moving the booster though ....

The booster looks neat where it is as the piping is tidy. Oh ....... I see you have a door lock on the drivers side. Very practical

Thanks Guys - yes I'm happy with a few extra bits of chrome as the Grey lets them blend in nicely so it doesn't scream "OVER THE TOP" at first glance anyway.

I have an oil filter to go in as well so it will get a bit crowded in there - see how it all looks once we tidy up the piping etc for heater and booster vacuum.

Just the little things to connect up now like some electrical connections and re-wrap wiring in cloth and timber in back then tailgate on - cavity wax and Interior finish off then a quick roadworthy - register tuesday and should be good to go.

Thankfully it has been started and run for a bit and all systems checked mechanically and all good - down to the wire though.

Oh and I nearly forgot - the stickers LOL.

The ute is looking very, very neat.

Is that a Dynamat-type product used as the door-card liner?

Cheers,
Harv

Yes Harv - it has some thermal and noise insulation qualities but not thick like dynamite - a bit like the stuff they wrap houses in.
