Far enough.

that works on an FJ sedan, gasser style but I'DE still prefer that unchopped
this is a hard arguement for me :( about the only trend i liked from the '70's was panelvans and even they were pretty much all tasteless chariots

Its not an argument Rat,
You made a judgement on the wheels, based on what you thought the style would be.
I just tried to explain that I have different ideas for it.
No dramas :)

The van is looking great Thommo !!!

Like most mate I do like the lowered appearance .... that said its only because i can imagine the final outcome easier as its always done and ive seen it before.

Im very interested in what it will look like , as im sure you already have the picture in your head ...... the photo of the chopped FJ definetly helps ...... one thing definetly popped into mind thou

Mechanical fuel injection would be just the thing Mephious :D
But not for a small block chev :?
Amos, or MGee injection for a holden red would be more like it for me 8)
Does anyone know of any around :?:

Plans are just to get it driveable with a stock 202 Trimatic that I already have,
Diffs done, front end is done, just got to finish this body work, get it painted,
and get the drivers cabin upholstered first of.
Once the basics are done and I've driven it for a while, the hotty motor
van rear deck out and some more refinements will come later.

I just want to drive the thing first
