A short update...I was hoping to say I've finished with a photo to prove it & make it to the Grey Pride run in Berrima tomorrow.........no such luck...I've been going flat out since 7am this morning trying to have the car ready to go...but all the little things that still needed doing aren't all done yet. I have successfully got all the lighting done this included new headlights & adjusters ..as there where none!) finishing the front amber bullet indicators & so doing I now have parkers in the headlights...all the new wiring has been soldered properly this time as well, with all new connections. Also cleaned the inside of the bumpers and painted them before installing them in the afternoon (and I am happy to say I did'nt scratch the paintwork ..not once..as I was fearing I'd do!). Now the car looks complete on the outside and just have to install the door trims, speakers, 1 seat bolt ...and replace the CD player with a newer one that my daughter took out of her old (daiwoo?..dunno how to spell it??) ...then get underneath & replace the rear gearbox seal..it's always leaked since I took over the ownership. That plus hand buff all the little bit around the windscreen vent and door frames etc..Just tested all the lights and 'we have ignition! 8) :D I probably could have most of it done tonight but the sheds lighting is only average at best and I'd be stupid to rush and make an error (or worse) this late in the game. Better to err on the side of common sense than possibly ruin a relatively nice job. Plus being alone here I have to do all the (this really needs two people) jobs with alot of thought before I do something stupid and scratch the paint.

Scotty

P.S ..after dinner I might be able to get a photo of it.. :D
