Nice timing Stinky :)
My body man Len, was around late last week.
He has managed to free up some time to enable us to get back into it.
Lens a bloke who finds it hard to say to say no to helping mates,
even to the detriment of his own projects.
He has finished some other projects that needed to be done,
and we will be into it this week.

We will light the torch thursday night

Some stuff has been done since the last update,
New wheels, rebuilt auto steering column,
rebuilt shortened diff & collecting of small parts.

Jeez mate, you would have had to dig deep to find this thread

Hows your new aquisition

Cheers
Jeff

With 2" lowering blocks fitted

The Donor van gave up its panel sides the other night.
We should be starting to weld them in this week.

Great work!!

What width tyres are you running with the torana diff? I cant see myself getting anything wider than 205s in with my torana diff. The donor looks like a sweet colour :)

Hi (AUST)mod
The deepdish 8" rims wear 225/65/14
The 6" chromies have F70/14 Mickey Thompson Indy Profile's
Both rims have 3"1/4' backspace.

Oh Harko, please stop it with the jokes,
I've just got out of hospital, from having my sides stiched up

Progress report;
Still welding the side windows in,
Len also repaired the gap in the rain gutter where some was missing.
The panel between the gutter and the van window was also replaced, as the
metal was so thin in that spot along the old chop join.

When the welding is finished, (other side has to be done yet)
I will measure just how many meters/feet of hammer welding
has been done to repair the old chop & fill the windows.

I have also picked up the torch (should have learnt something by now  )
and started filling all the badge holes in the guards & bonnet.

Slowley but surely, it will get done :D

Cheers
Jeff
