I forgot to say that now poor Fi's Lilac EK is now as high at the back as one of those HZ Holden Overlanders because I stole her rear springs and gave her my old ones, but we will rectify that after we come back from Wangaratta because it just doesn't seem fair.

Thanks Devilrod. I have to get some other front bumper sections because mine are a bit dented, but it looks got from about 10 or so feet, and thats my style. Hey Wayne. That Bonnet Buzzard just up and flew away! Good riddence I say! I threw some Fender Spears at it, but I missed completely! Hey SpaceAce. I have 2 sets of Tar Babies, but I don't Know if wer'e having them on this job yet. I tend to associate these with the older Datsun 180B, RSL set, and I'm feeling pretty YOUNG!

Really guys. As far as lowered cars go, my FB is really a bit of a PUSSY (A Pink Pussy!) I do appreciate the sentiment behind your 2 musical tributes. I think I'll go with "On the Prowl" though, the other one is a little bit "Huggy Bear", "Mod Squad" for me!) I did find that today at work, i couldn't walk past my car without standing there and GAWKING at it again and again, so it was a pretty quiet day, work wise. I still have aches and pains from changing 2 lots of rear springs, front pins and shackle rubbers from one car to the other, and Visa Versa, out on the grass, between showers, with no air tools etc. It took from 8.30 a.m. to just past 5 p.m. with only 10 mins. for some lunch. Sundays effort with Tim doing 80% of the work was a vacation by comparison! I think when you lower your car, you tend to Thrash it more! It feels less like an FB Special and more like an AUSTRALIAN LAMBORGINI! Is this just me??

Thanks Tim. Still a bit of tidying up and putting back together but the general idea is there. Its good to have FB back again after a month of welding and painting under the Hills Hoist. Seems to drive as well as it ever did also, so we are feeling optimistic.
