Good point Harv. I don’t see that it could be that hard to smith one up. Having the pattern is the thing.

I think I've got one Clay in one of my bombs. I'll have a look.

Got 12mm marine ply. They talked me put of the hoop pine ply but I kind of so hee they hadn't. Was $267 versus $120 the only reason. KBS diamond coat was the clear recommended by Steve.Image

No clamps. Just the bump stops that stop the wheel going forward

Never done any of this before Blacky so each new task gets approached with some trepidation.

I will repair the badge with epoxy resin and glass fibre no problem. Just another task I didn’t need. I do have a very nice repro already but needs chroming, and pins so easier to fix this.

Oh bugger....... those boot badges are rather delicate. I know as I broke one of my original ones too :( Once you repair it no one will see it.

Put me down for one of those spare wheel clamps too please!

Clay - I’d be interested to hear how you find the diamond finish clear from kbs. I’ve had mixed results - seems to spray much better than it brushes on. Easy to get gas bubbles with the brush...
